I enjoy long drives down the highway with my music blasting as loud as I can!

Music has always been a huge part of my life ever since I was very little. When I was young and was ever in the car with just my Mom or Dad we would always be singing along to music.

As I got older I started listening to the radio and it kept me up-to-date on the latest pop songs. From Middle School on I was hugely involved in theater and my favorite thing about it was the musicals because I loved the music.

In the middle of High School I started refining my music tastes and listing to songs that described my ~teenage angst~. At the same time I started driving which also meant singing along to music.

When college came around it became the thing to do to listen to music while you walked to class which was fine by me. I imagine I'm in a music video and get lost in thought while walking to my destination.

I even listen to music while I sleep because I can't sleep if its too quiet.

Music is such a huge part of my life and is a huge way for me to express my emotions and my creativity. It seems like most people who are obsessed with music become singers/songwriters/producers etc. But not me because I don't want to do any of that.

I am simply obsessed with listening to music.

This goes back to those car rides with Mom and Dad. I grew up on music of the 60s, 70s, & 80s and I absolutely love it. It's mainly the mainstream people of the time like Queen & The Beatles but I love it. This music is my past, my present, & my future.

Songs from musicals goes along with my love for theater. I love being in shows & I love watching shows & musicals do not escape my music obsession. These songs are so catchy, unique, & sometimes emotional & I like singing along to them!

21 Pilots has to be my top favorite band. I was a little late to the game but once I started listening to them I was hooked. Even their newest album I am obsessed with. They are my favorites because I think their lyrics are unique, compelling, and full of deeper meanings. Tyler (the lead singer) doesn't write music for money or write about simple topics, he writes about things that society doesn't like to talk about. Like depression, anxiety, religion, and how hard the creative process is, but at first listen they don't sound like he's talking about these topics.I just have a lot of love and respect for 21 Pilots.
