In class we got the chance to share the interesting people that we follow on the internet and talk about why we liked following those people. Then we were tasked with looking up these accounts that people recommended and seeing what we thought. So, first I am going to share some of the top people I like to follow and than I am going to talk about some of the recommendations that I like!
PewDiwPie
If you don't know who this guy is you're seriously living under a rock. Even though you can follow him on Twitter and Instagram (which I recommend) his biggest platform of influence is YouTube. And when I say big I mean big. Now up to 86 & a half million ~MILLION~ subscribers, he is the most subscribed channel that is not a business channel.
I've been watching Felix for 7 out of the 8 years he's been on YouTube so I've really seen his channel grow and change. I don't really know how to describe his content or describe why I like him. He has very edgy, dark humor that I like, along with being silly and stupid, all while being very articulate and intelligent.
If you pick a random video to start watching it probably isn't going to make any sense because a lot of the jokes revolve around some context of earlier jokes but I still recommend jumping in and watching some videos!
Glam And Gore
This next person is also a YouTube person and it's Mykie and her channel is GlamAndGore. She is a makeup artist with a huge focus in SFX (special effects) makeup. She does quite a bit of glam tutorials that can be recreated but her main thing is creating gore looks. A lot of the time it starts out as a glam look and then ends up as a gore look.
I recommend her because I think shes pretty talented, super humble, funny, and an all around wholesome person. Even though most of her videos are things I don't have any intentions of re-creating I still enjoying watching because of her commentary and to see her process on how she creates looks. If you're in the mood for some creativity you should check her out!
Marzia (IG @itsmarziapie)
This last person is someone I used to watch on YouTube but now she is solely on Instagram and Twitter. I was introduced to her channel through Pewdiepie because Marzia is his girlfriend. I kept watching because I liked the videos she posted. They were very cute and aesthetically pleasing. I continue to follow and highly enjoy her Instagram because I really like her style. Her whole personal branding is very distinct which I admire. She is also a wholesome person who's outfits are to die for! Her main focus right now is the pottery she is creating to be used as plant pots. Theses pottery pieces are not your typically looking pots so I really appreciate her creativity. I think she's someone worth following if you're over a westernized style of fashion!

This is a subreddit that was recommended and I have been really enjoying it! The page describes itself as "incredibly contrived setups for homophonic punchlines". All of the posts are pretty funny and very clever! It really shows you how crazy the English language is! I think this would be a great way to spark creativity if you're stuck on what to write! I can't wait to see more from this subreddit!

This is another subreddit and I can't completely decided if I like it or not! I mean the concept of the subreddit I like. It's basically showing off the latest and greatest products, and in a world where everything is ever changing this is a great way to keep up. However, while scrolling through the subreddit some of the products didn't really seem up to my standards. Meaning they seemed more gimmicky than really a new product to be gushing over. Since the subreddit is just a hodge podge of products it's hard to determines which ones are really the latest and greatest products out there. With this being said I still have enjoyed it so far and think it could still be useful!
Cole Sprouse (IG @colesprouse)
If you know the Suite Life of Zach and Cody than you know who Cole Sprouse is. If you've ever watched Riverdale than you know who Cole Sprouse is. I know who he is but I've never followed him on Instagram. I'm glad is Instagram was recommended because I really like it. I didn't realize he had such a specific look going for his IG. He takes some insanely good photos that I'm jealous of! Knowing him from the shows I wouldn't have guessed that he had such a sophisticated sense of style. Cole is definitely worth checking out and following. Also, he has a second account which is just as good as the first. This second account is dedicated to taking pictures of people who are trying to take pictures of him! It is very funny and the way he talks about it is hilarious so it's definitely worth checking that one out as well!!
